The Fabulous Life of Being Pink

Just watched the movie Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Most Sharpay scenes there are amazingly pink everywhere. The stuff are so girly that every girl and girl at heart would wish to have. Thanks to her rich parents, she can really choose what color she wants for everything that she has.

With her is her super cute and adorable dog named Boi. Definitely not only his owner got the break. He happens to be one of the lead roles that truly shines in this movie and absolutely showed amazing acting prowess.

And there comes a cute guy who looks after her in all her endeavors during her short adventure in New York, whom she promised a free video shoot of her for his school project.

A perfect kind of life for a gorgeous pink girl like us. But we are all human being, pink or not, we all know that life is never as perfect as how pink perfectly fits our girly taste. We all face desire that cannot be achieved by money, so sometimes we get out of our hot pink niche and baby pink comfort zone and do some adventure to show the world that we really deserve to get what we want. There are also times that there are people who hurt us and could turn our pink surroundings into... not really black... but gray or black and white will do.

And there are times it is ourselves who make our pink heart turn blue because of our selfish thoughts and behavior toward people, especially those who truly care for us. Just like what happened with Sharpay and his boy in New York when she chose to prioritize her dream than fulfilling her promise to him.

Lesson: Always wear pink glow outside and inside.

This is not the main plot of the movie though. It is for you to find out. I don't want to spoil any pink experience you will get watching this pink film.

Wear pink lipstick while watching this movie so that right after the movie, you are ready to face the mirror and tell yourself  I AM FABULOUS!  And don't forget to make a little gorgeous pout.

XOXOXO !!!

Promises Are Made to be Broken No More in 2013

This was actually written January 1, 2013.

It is the first day of 2013 and it is the usual thing to have New Year's Resolutions. For the past years, I have been promising myself changes that I thought would improve me, such as to study harder, to deal with people more nicely, to control my temper, to be more disciplined, etc. And none of them were even accomplished, at least in my conscious state.

Not getting any accomplishment was very frustrating. Setting new year's resolutions e---very year keeps on telling me that I would just fool myself again and again and again. Maybe I was not being realistic; I was being too optimistic. Also, even I knew in my mind that I was not yet ready to change something, for the name of New Year, I would promise myself to accomplish that. In the end, I ended up with another broken promise.

So this year 2013, I would like to make it simple. No specificity but I wish this would be the start of my Yearly New Year's Resolution having accomplished. I wish a simple, happy, content and always grateful self in 2013.

Positive vibes for the entire year pals ;) ;) ;) XOXO

Welcome to My Pink World

This is my first blog and I mean to be active on it from this day on. I have always been wishing to do something that can be my outlet - for my thoughts, ideas and feelings. But I always find myself either busy in studies or hanging out with friends or unfortunately, daydreaming while curled up in bed thinking nonsense. Thank God that I finally realized that despite all hindrances, there's no better act to move forward than starting now.

There is still a lot to improve in my thoughts and skills for this blog to get your interest. But first things first. Begin from the beginning. This must also serve as my training ground for writing.

As for the moment this blog lives by these thoughts: a) Our lives will be more meaningful if we are able to translate our thoughts into actions; b) special moments in our lives are more likely to be remembered if they are chronicled, and they become more inspiring if they are shared; c) We become more influential if we learn how to express our genuine intentions and natural abilities to people especially those close to us.
